I don’t know about you, but my son always comes back from daycare asking for a snack — like, the moment he walks in the door! So I try to have something ready that's quick, healthy, and homemade. Just like these sweet potato biscuits. The other day, I had a few sweet potatoes lying around and thought, Why not make something simple before he gets back? I didn’t want anything fancy or time-consuming — just something warm, filling, and toddler-approved.
These biscuits are soft, slightly sweet, and made with just 6 wholesome ingredients — no fancy steps, no refined sugar. You can air fry them or bake them, depending on what works best for you. I love how they turn out golden and crisp in the air fryer, but you can also keep them soft for younger babies or early eaters.
These soft and nourishing sweet potato biscuits are perfect for babies, toddlers, and kids! Made with just 6 ingredients, they're quick to prepare, easy to air fry or bake, and great for baby-led weaning, school snacks, or anytime munching.
Steam, boil, or roast sweet potatoes until soft. Mash 1 cup until smooth — no lumps.

In a bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, flour, ghee, cinnamon, and nuts powder. Mix until a soft dough forms. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour. If too dry, add a spoon of milk or water.

Take small portions of dough and flatten into mini biscuit shapes — about 1-2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick. You can use cookie cutters to make it fun!

Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving. They’ll firm up a bit more as they cool.
